Superscape Launches 3D Control -- an ActiveX Control for Interactive Developers.

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 22, 1998--Superscape, the Interactive 3D specialists, today announces the launch of 3D Control. The product, which is priced on a run-time license basis, is targeted towards interactive 3D developers who wish to improve integration with their other developments tools, such as Microsoft's Visual Basic, Java VM and Visual C++, Inprise Delphi and Macromedia's Director and Authorware products. 3D Control will also provide an elegant tool for those developers who wish to introduce interactive 3D environments into their applications for the first time.

"3D Control allows us to seamlessly integrate with other tools and has dramatically improved our development activities," said Bryan Salt, Creative Director of Black Sheep Design. "It gives us significantly more control over what we want to do, and this has been particularly important in the development of our new, extremely sophisticated, interactive 3D game, Republic, which will be on the shelves in the first quarter of next year."

As an ActiveX control, Superscape's 3D Control delivers the power and flexibility of Component Orientated Programming. Developers are able to integrate 3D Control seamlessly into a multitude of applications, while continuing to use their familiar development tools.
