Old friends reunited as Llyr returns for concert

WELSH pianist Llyr Williams joins Sinfonia Cymru at PontyberemMemorial Hall on Saturday, October 29.

Continuing their long standing association with the celebratedpianist, the young professionals of Sinfonia Cymru will perform inPontyberem at 7.30pm as part of their autumn tour.

Llyr Williams, was born in 1976 in Pentrebychan, North Wales, Heread music at Queen's College, Oxford and went on to take up apostgraduate scholarship at the Royal Academy of Music where he wonevery available prize and award.

Williams and Sinfonia Cymru have performed together on numerousoccasions. Their last collaborative visit to Pontyberem was in 2007.
